The world population is increasing day by day. However, our water resources are limited. Developing economies of the industrialised societies irresponsibly consume available water resources. Industrial and human needs are increasing day by day. However, the scarcity of available water resources causes major water problems.
According to the United Nations report, there are millions of people who are deprived of clean drinking water. In addition, contaminated water is consumed as drinking water in less developed countries deprived of treatment technologies.
